personally I like the flt ones on the front rather than the wrap around type, My friends old SJ had the flat type bull bar with extra spotlight guards in the middle which I quite liked.... (his was the white one, mine is the red one)

I put vitara bullbars on mine but they didn't quite sit right, They were sat a little to high and were too wide for the body, although they were good to mount spotlights on,

Hi All,

A little update on now things are going, over the weekend i changed the front Bushes to poly bushes and will be doing the back
this weekend coming. a little question on now tight the nuts should be on the front shackles? do i tighten them with a normal spanner as far
as i can by hand and then with the torque wrench? or just with the torque wrench?

plus i am having an issues with the screen washers. I don't think I have enough pressure from the washer motor.
anyone know of a good place to buy a new one??

cheers all.

I would tighten them up hand tight.
Get new bolts with nylock nuts if you haven't already. If you over-tighten the suspension it will end up harder than it needs to be!!!

Not sure on the washer motor... have you tried blowing out the washer hoses with compressed air or anything like that?

As a last ditch resort, you can run hoses along the wiper arms so the water actually comes off the wiper arms

If you have original shackles you can do then up to the correct torque as they have a stepped bolt/pin so you can't crush the bushes.
After-market / lift shackles normally use just plain bolts with nylock nuts so don't want to be overtightened as Twiss says
