Current problem is the sump hits the Diff if you do any major off road stuff, or hit any bumps in the road at speed, so need to get a 1.3 sump, or take it off see whats underneath it and cut/weld it. Will look at that on Wednesday if I get the time.

This any help...

Well engine is almost back together and re-built.

Put one part in wrong so need to go and fix that today, its a pain to get to though :(

Found out I had no thermostat, I now have one to put in.

Wait till the rain stops and get my SJ back on the road

Fucking car. Does not want to start lol.

Tripple checked the timing belt, and now checking the distributor timing now. Had to go to work, so had to stop working.

Think im almost there, about another 10 or 15 deg out.

If this isn't the problem im screwed lol.

There is defiantly fuel (can see it in my small filter view glass thingie near the carb).

Will see how I get on tomorrow. Hopefully not too much head scratching and reading the Haynes manual.

Any life at all, or does it not even fart?

Well it started off with no life at all, just turning over but its now started to try and fire, so think the timing is off by a few deg. It started to fire when I got the distributor timing closer, so just need to tweak that a bit tomorrow morning hopefully. Then it should be correct.

Sorted, all back and running now :guns:.

Drank a little water, but just getting it through the system so nothing to worry about.

Just need to put coolant in at some point and do an oil change. For now, I will be using my SJ to go to work over the next few days to see if anything is wrong.

Time to clear out the garage and SJ now after all the work (huge mess everywhere at the moment).
