getting fuel out
getting fuel out
hi all is there a fuel drain on an 83 sj or can i syphon fuel out the filler neck? got full tank but need to get the tank out.
Re: getting fuel out
Some have a drain others don't, there should be a hole in the bottom of the guard where it is if there is and you can syphon the tank easily if there isn't.

^ That's quite a good idea...
Good for if you accidentally put diesel in or something, take off your fuel hose and piss the fuel out all over the petrol station forecourt

Re: getting fuel out
I pull the carb feed off mine and it runs long enough to pump over a litre into a bottle on the contents of the float chamber on the su! Good if you need to get some out for offroad bbq/fire lighting
