Lots of people like the 5 speed gearboxes in road going 410s, its worth keeping or selling!

Generally in the £40 ball-park. Depends on miles. I got a 5-speed gearbox that had only done 37,000 miles for £45, but then the guy threw in a petrol tank, sender and side repeater covers for £5 so it was a bargain overall.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

i got a 4 speed in my sj manly for off road as i tend to try and crawl up things and only use first second and third gear for going down hill etc , when i had a 5 speed i never used its because we never went fast enough at pay and play to use it

if i was you though i would keep it for a spare ;)
