Hello. My SJ410.
Hi everybody, i'm Doug from Aberdeen and here is my pretty much standard 1987 SJ410 which gets called the Rhino. I have owned it for a few months now and have already had it in bits a few times. The gearbox has been in and out a couple times to try and make it a bit more comfortable on the road, but the 5 speed box was wailing its head off when I had it fitted so it had to be removed again.
I have also replaced the steering box since the old ones bushes were gone and the car was all over the road.
I'm looking to maybe do a few small modifications such as slightly bigger wheels/tyres, and maybe a small suspension lift, but nothing that will greatly affect how it handles on the road since it will still be my every day runabout.
Doug.

Re: Hello. My SJ410.
Hi, nice 410 and welcome to the club!!!
If you're going to mod it, start small and then work up from there.
I would start with a 2" suspension lift and some slightly bigger mud terrain tyres.
215s or 225s would be the best. Maybe some wheel spacers as well.
