Good evening

Post by Wayne_202 » Tue Mar 20, 2012 7:22 pm

Hello everyone,
Hopefully getting an sj this week as long as its all good, it's got a 1.9td engine with ldv box, can't wait to get it really muddy :) I live in north Devon in a little town called Holsworthy if anyone's local or know of any offroad sites around here, this will be my first 4x4 although did have a Subaru justy awd which was a little beast :)

Hopefully will get along to a meet or something soon

Cheers then Wayne

:welcome: to SCUK

Cant help you with local play sites but if you need to know anything else just ask.

If its taxed and tested have a look online at OS maps and go have a play on some green lanes.

That map uses landranger maps so these will be marked in pink but the same symbols are used.

I did spot some bits a min ago when I had a look. Will have another scout around now

can only spot one bit of byway but didnt look to hard. Just NW of Roadford lake near Thorndon.

Only about 800m long but maybe 50m of altitude change and a stream.

You could get there and just find a old road or it could be a quagmire but that's half the fun!
