Personally I think 200 is a bit steep for a Vit engine. Maybe 150 tops and that was if I could hear it running so I knew it was good! You could pick up a complete running vit for a few hundred more then break it to make your money back

Theres an spi lump 10miles from me starting at 60 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-Vitara ... 231cbc38c6. Also know someone with an spi lump complete with ecu and loom for sale.

I had a 94 carbed engine with less mileage and all ancillaries + a nearly new radiator for £120.

If your not in too much of a rush I'm sure waiting will produce something cheap and local.

I'm not going to keep doing this, I swear, but a quick ebay search before work turned this up

Seems good, I've got family near by so don't mind the drive to collect.

I always add the cost of fuel to the price.
Mapquest says Aylsham is 231 miles from Preston..462 round trip..If you get 25mpg about 18 gallons x £6 a gallon = £108. So maybe not so cheap? Visiting family = Priceless :doublethumbs:

I get about 35 mpg in my A4, so I figure about £80 for fuel.

Fancy having a look at it for me if it's not too much trouble?

I found when I picked up the 16v engine that fuel economy decreases a lot when you're lugging an extra engine around ;)
