Modded shackles??

Just wondering if anyone is running anything other than standard shackles?

Not longer but different. I was looking at rhino rays revolver shackles?

I don't really fancy killing the new springs and some shackles claim to put less stress on the springs under articulation.

I've also seen those hinged shackles but the name of them escapes me.

Are they road legal too?

Twister shackles are a bit crap, I had some on the rear of my sj years ago but they didn't really make a difference so I took them off and sold them.

D-flex/drop shackles just allow more droop that's about it. Missing links as Darrell posted are the best set up of these types of shackles but I would only run them on the front or rear and not both.

Personally I'd stick to the original shackles or some slightly longer than stock but not much longer.
