which su carb?

i been given a su carb today :mrgreen: but my mate cant remember what its come off :roll: he thinks its off a 1275 mini, how do i know if its a hif 44? there is a metal tag on it with the numbers FZX1415 and 7WK289. if this is not the right one, there is a company on e-bay doing a refurbished one complete with adapter plate and set up for my samurai for £220, isthat a reasonable price?

hi, if i remember rightly, the su fitted on the minis(hs2) had the float chamber on the side. the metros (hif carb) has the float chamber underneth. why dont you contact the mini/metro specialist and buy a carb from them. you could also try find a part.

just been on differs,, and theres su hif44 £30 each..
