New here
Hi - recently bought an '88SJ and wondered whats going on with any Suzuki Clubs.
I bought a new SJ in '87 collecting it from Holland as you did in those days. Had a few Suzukis over the years since then. Saw my current SJ on ebay a few weeks back and just had to have it as same as my first one... My '91 Samurai had to go to make room on the drive tho
Did a bit of off-roading in the early 90s so think I'll get some bigger wheels and a set of muds on this SJ and start playing again
I live in Solihull - what goes on around the middle of England?
Take it easy...

Re: New here
Welcome to the club, I'm looking forward to you posting some photos. Back in 87' I bet you were the cock of the village with a 413 whilst everyone else had 410's!
Re: New here
Ive been called many things over the year but I didn't expect anyone to be quite that forward....calling me a cock on my first day...
'87 was great but I'm loving this mid-life crisis thing...I get an excuse for all sorts of new toys
I'll get a snap up but to be honest I havnt actually taken any yet

Thanks for the welcome so far
There were plenty of 413 tin tops around in mid/late 80s but the only way of getting a 413 rag top was to import it through a UK dealer but instead of collecting locally it had to be collected from Holland. It was actually a lot of fun going over. There were 22 of us when we went and one poor couple had a crash on their way home - obv not so much fun for them
Ive pretty much always had rag top SJs as they are just so much fun. Bought a soft top Vitara new in '89 I think it was - mine was the first one the local dealer supplied which I thought was super cool at the time as people would stop and look at it.....but looking back...??... Had a tin top Vitara in mid 90s. It was a white long wheel base-didnt like that one so much - there wasnt the fun-factor you get with the little jeeps and it was the only tin top Ive had.
Anyway..pics. I'll try to get something sorted and posted
