New here
Hello folks, new here, been round the web for ages looking how to fit a vit engine in a 410 and found lots of useful info here so I thought Id better join up. There will be lots of questions I should imagine, unless theres a good faq.
Ill try and get some pics up.

Re: New here
to do a 1.6 vit engine in your 410 youll need:
1.6 8v Vitare engine
SJ413 gearbox
gearbox to engine adaptor
skinny starter
move one of the engine mounts foreward (not sure which one)
413 exhasut (i think)
and there might be more just cant think off the top of my head...
ask Scottie about it he has done the swap into his 410...

My conversion was different to your average 1.6 into 410 though as I run the vit gearbox and twin transferboxes.
However I pretty much just extended the drivers engine mount forwards using some 50x50x4mm angle welded onto the chassis with a few gussets. Then made some adapter plates to bolt up the mounts to both engine Mounts, only got a pic of the extended chassis mount though sorry
