start with the engine, and then do any mods you want to do, and do the body last, have a look at some other build threads on here, and you'll get a fair idea of what to do

It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Re: Another newby chaps!
Hi John
to the club.
I'm going to say start with what ever is easiest for you to do. Once you see the work you've done, it helps get your enthusiasm going. The bodywork rot is the worst job to do as most of the mechanicals are simple and if they can't be fixed, spares are not hard to find (well on here anyway ).
I see it's just had new suspension fitted. Was this your first job or are you taking on somebody else's project. Your get plenty of advice on here if you need it and being at Marlborough have quite a few fellow members not far away.

2005-GV 1600se, "Hell" What do I know!
My spammy build!
Thanks for the welcome chaps, yeh not sure what the sticker is on the back?
I rescued her from a farm in Somerset where she was being used to feed the cows ! It was completely standard when I drove it home.
It had a very short MOT so I put her in for a new one and it failed on some bulbs and the handbrake cable! Not to bad I thought until I had to get some new cables from the main dealer (OUCH!!!). Since then I've taken it of the road stripped the inside to check for rust and guess what, the usual gaping holes in the foot wells and behind the seats!
But on a good note My mods so far
Add a leafs front and rear
Rough country +2 inch shocks front and rear
Poly bushed all round
Calmini +2 inch shackles on front, boomerang on the back
Grayson 32mm spacers
Weller wheels with cheap camac terra 255/75r15s at the mo, that are still rubbing on full lock both ways
In the middle of putting a webber carb on but after reading the blogs I'm 100% sure I've put it on backwards so I've stopped, not really sure what to do now????
Just want to get her back on the road
Please help?
Anyone

Re: Another newby chaps!
I'm only just down the road in Swindon.
The sticker on the back just means it was made in Spain.
Cant really help you with the carb as I'm more of an SU man myself.
There are a few people running webbers so I'm sure if you chuck a photo up of where you think you've gone wrong someone will be along shortly that can help.
