Gearboxes engines Advice

Post by Colin » Tue Jan 22, 2013 9:45 am

Hi all.
Good morning everyone.
And yes I am new to the Suzuki scene.
I am looking for a bit of help regarding gearboxes & engines. Can anyone tell me if a 413 gearbox will fit the 3 cylinder swift engine?
Thanks
Colin

Thanks.
I am building a very light car and I want to use the 1.0 3 cylinder engine and the SJ 1.3 main gearbox.
I have been told that the 3 cylinder engine is the same as the 413 but with a different crank and 1 cylinder missing so the bellhousing should be the same fitting. can anyone confirm or offer more info please?

As In the 3cylinder g10a if so then I'm pretty sure it bolts right up  they share the same bellhousing pattern.

Mike Harris in the breaking section will probably have a good gearbox but I don't know of any engines about. eBay seems to have a few on there for good prices.

Out of interest what exactly are you building with it?

Would love to see a build thread even if its not a 4x4.
