Hi, I am trying to put a soft top on my sj. I have the canvas bit, the hoop, and the hoop fittings.
I assume I need more bits as the part above the windscreen, and the bits by the roll bar, flop about.
Tried searching "soft top fittings", nothing. Does anyone know what I am looking for, thanks, Rich.

im sure darrel will have a diagram for the parts needed on a soft top... if he doesnt post a reply on here then send him a message...

I've managed to get this together if its any help.
I have no idea of the variations over the years.
Post up some pics, somebody may be able to tell you if anything is missing

Is this to convert a tintop or just swap from hardtop to soft top?

Will need:

The strip across the windscreen that holds the canvas.

The rubber seal strip across the top of thescreen

The hoop at the back with black blocks

The metal runners it slides into on the rear of the roll bar

Male poppers on the windscreen and around rear tub

guys, can you tell me if i need a plastic/ metal strip that is attached to the soft top at the front where it joins the screen?

My roof i have on it currently does but a spare one im bringing back to life doesnt -

this is whats missing, do i need this on my other soft top to make it fit correctly? -
