Done all my wheel and king pins last week took about 45 mins per side.
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

i love doing the king pin bearings on the front axle it strange i know but thats just me :crazy:

I should have done the kingpins last time I did the bearings. I didn't see the need last time.

How can I gauge if the actual cv is worn when it's removed, then?

Will there be play or roughness?

CVs will click whilst turning at full lock if they need replacing. Even then I just make the most out of them and wait until they explode :lol:

When i done my bearings last week, the drivers side cv needed doing as well. I found that if I angled it, like turning the steering, it wouldn't rotate freely. Mostly just jamming up.
