I actually broke both diffs, my alternator, and my starter :roll: :cry:

All fixed now, ready for another trip up to wycombe!!!

will the vitara v6 starter motor fit? it has 9 teeth and the same fitting by the looks of it as the d6ra62

Not entirely sure...

to be honest, I'm going to send a picture of my actual starter housing
(the one I think is a D6RA12) to Valeo and ask them to identify it.

When I got the starter it had the D6RA12 sticker on the motor...
and as far as I can remember I had to cut the rivets off to split the thing.

So it should be the correct model number, unless someone has swapped the motor, and then re-riveted it back together
I just want to double check before someone buys a D6RA12

Oh yeah, re-read the original post, I've altered it cos it was wrong :oops:

HELP i need a starter
I got 1 from Wood Auto as you suggested
IT WILL NOT FIT :argh:
i have done the 1.6 conversion with 1.3 gear box
Need help at my wits end :bawling: :bawling:

the starter on mine fits ok, it was on there when i bpought it. im going up there after, shall i get a pic and the numbers ect off it, dunno if it could you guys?

ok, there are no numbers on it, just a mitsubushi logo. lable must have fallen off at some point.

Thinking of buying a D6RA-12 as I know the motor and solenoid will be good and I can just change the housing from one of my D6RA-13's? The end looks exactly the same as far as bolts and positions of all holes etc

And this should work fine?
