hi brand new to the site and need a bit of help ive got 2"pro comp leafsprings pro comp 3000 shocks and dflex shackels but its a pig to drive ive heard about removeing leafs out but which one thanks iain

Hi Matey and welcome to the forum!
To be honest all suzukis even in standard form can be a bit of a pig to drive on the road, then when you start raising them up and putting bigger tyres on its only going to get worse. I don't think that removing leafs from the springs will help too much as that is only going to make the springs softer! could be something to do with the Dflex as well because they can sometimes allow the axle to move from side to side slightly! I would just recomend that you take it easy when driving on road a keep your wits about you! i nearly ended up in a ditch the other day from a really bad case of bump steer whilst going down a bumpy country road at about 40mph

Have you got any pics of your articulation. mines not great but to be honest it rarely limits the places that i can go! it's all about picking the right lines so that you don't get cross axled, here's a pic of my flex

you only rely need the articulation for rock climeing is all about the rote you take in mudy england, i had some dflex shackels found that my axels wer all ova the place on road, an off road they was not much cop as they wood bounce at full reach so iv now got lifted shackels an my articulation ant much dif an it handels better all round

Id stay well clear of them D flex shackles there make you anus horrible to drive on and off road, if you want really good flex you need Coils
Heres a pic of mine on 5 landrover wheels, i almost got to the top on the 2nd attempt but one rear wheel was lifting off the ground

d flex shackles are bad on the road, the inside shackles tend to open up when your driving round a corner causing exsessive body roll, like every one else has said ditch them and you get your steering back. some people belive articulation is the key to good offroading, but if both your wheels are on the floor and your d flex is fully extended there is no weight on the wheel and it will just spin

cheers m8 i now think i might have them on the wrong way round i have them pionting back under the zuk and they resting on the leafs is right?or do they point out the way? iain
