I seen a couple of lj build treads which have sliced the body down the middle and made it Like a foot wider
I will try and true pics if u want

That would be amazing thanks, i havent managed to find that particular modification but its one i would obviously love to see.

This is the best example of what i am trying to achieve i have found so far but i'm having difficulty getting much info on it as my google translation hates the webpages its on:

Hi guys, just a quick update
picked up my new 1981 LJ80 today, the engine is MINT its only done 6700 miles (which maybe why lol), one owner from new and used on a farm for taking little bits and pieces here and there.
The body work is nowhere near mint but thats what i'm here for :D
I will post more pics tomorrow, its shower and food time right now - why is it so damn cold!!

I was going to do a crazy build with it but when i realised how amazingly mint everything was and all orgional i decided pretty quickly to do a restoration instead.
so bye bye mental suzuki/anus crazy build :(
