Re: New to site. My build so far!
I will be giving up on a well over 2k build over a starter motor!
I have built a few trucks in my time but never ever have i had such a problem! I have gone through 4 starters taken the engine out twice! and replaced 3 fly wheels!
Its almost got me beat! I just dont know what to try next!

Re: New to site. My build so far!
What starter motors are you using? What exactly is it doing?
Did you use an adapter plate in the end or not? Of not did you fit the small spacer plate between the engine and gearbox?
If you were a bit closer I would pop up and have a look

Re: New to site. My build so far!
thanks mate.
ye used a plate. I have tried bosch ones they bolt in ok and i have tried rotatin them both ways. Its spinning over well then it starts crunching afer a few canks then i have to un bolt it all refit it and it will spin over a few times again.
its got me so mad today lol. having a beer now and chilling. just so frustrating when its such a simple thing!
