Nice! :welcome: to :suzuki: club UK there's a few coily imports around in the UK, I'm pretty sure the axles are pretty much jimny axles and quite a few other parts as shared with the jimny.

Should be quite easy to get parts for though. As with all SJs loads of parts are interchangeable

To the best of my knowledge they Jimny's and SJ's share the same rear bearings and seals, but I think the Jimny shoes are slightly narrower than the SJ's.

I think you are right Darrell although I has a feeling the kit is slightly different on the jimny's with AbS but I would presume the coily doesn't have ABS so just a normal SJ rear wheel bearing kit should do the job I think.

Yes the diagram shows 2 retainers, the 43485-77e51 is for the ABS model and has a sensor ring fitted. 56451-77e00.

Hello!

I have a question for all SJ80 owners, especially for M5auto:

How and where do you find the spare parts for the SJ80? As far as I know, those cars were sold only for three years (1996-1998), and mostly in Asia. They were available in Europe only in 1998, but very few of them got sold in Europe.

That's why the spare parts for the SJ80 seem to be very hard to find in Europe. And SJ80 has a lot of parts which are specific to that model.

The group of specific SJ80 parts are:
1. Transmission parts (it is chain-driven)
2. Suspension parts (shock absorbers, coil springs, bushings, all kinds of rods and arms, shock towers, etc.)
3. Front axle parts (differentials, etc.)
4. Specific body parts (front grille, headlights and turn signals, etc.)

The main issue are the suspension parts, because, according to several Australian forums (where the SJ80 has the most presence), the SJ80 has a somewhat problematic suspension - its suspension components are suspectible to damage (bending, twisting, breaking) when under stress.

The suspension parts which are specific to SJ80 are:
- CV joints
- Radius arms
- Trailing arms
- Shock absorbers (front and rear)
- Shock towers
- Bushings for all suspension components
- Stabilizer ("panhard") rods

As I have an offer to buy one SJ80 myself (it's in really good condition, made in 1998), I am in real dilemma whether to buy it or not, because of the concern about the availability of those spare parts. I really liked the car! But .... it could be a potential doom.

That is why I would like to know if those spare parts are available in UK (or in mainland Europe) and where?

Kind regards!
