Vitara From Bristol

Post by rory-ray » Sun Aug 04, 2013 11:36 pm

Alright lads, Names Rory and im from Bristol

(Im going to fit my life story in here now)

I Just bought another vitara after selling mine just before Christmas last year, ive been itching to get another one but money and commitments have just been a strain!

For the past 7-8 months ive been helping and seeing my mate set up his vitara (but hes now swapping everything over onto a hardtop vitara :er:) and seeing another mate of mine sort his sj out (caught fire in mcdonalds drive through!) so this really hasn't helped the urge to get another 4x4, I viewed a sj running on a pug diesel engine, it was hanging, and another sj that wasn't much better. then my mate found a cheap working standard vitara took the front diff out and sold the vitara to me for £200, underneath its tidy and everthing works apart from the non exsistant front diff!

This is going to be used as a toy, it will be legal but because I got my daily car I can afford to push this one a bit more!

Just sorted a front diff out so now I can start shopping, ive sorted some new malatesta kobra tyres on jimny steels off a mate of mine, just gonna do a cheap 2" lift with rover rear springs and merc front springs for the minite and see how she performs, then I expect I will go a bit mad with it...

Few pics, my old vitara, my mates, and my new one and ill chuck one up of my daily car for the sake of it!

Thanks for the warm welcome.

@ ScottyJ, theres quite a few zook owners around here now, there was only a few about until recently, they've been popping out the woodwork!

@ Mark 'Ferret', electrician, I think its black under the mould:D, couldont help but buy something else, as you know working for a tight millionaire I can only afford something cheap. I hope your mum knows your on the internet late aswell!
