That looks pretty flexi considering all the leaves in those springs.

Have you got it running yet?

Trouble ive got is there was a bang and it stayed in the flex position.
The rear shackle went past its max and wedged on the chasis
So may to tweek bump stops to prevent this.

Not running yet. Gearbox still on the floor :lol:

The distance between the spring mounts is slightly shorter on the Lwb for some strange reason. The other way around this is to fit a slightly longer shackle so that it doesn't completely flatten out and reverse when the spring goes flat and is at its full length :thumbup: then you will gain a bit of extra flex rather than loose some by lowering the bumpstops more than you need to.

Okay cool. Id wondered if I can do that. I measured the distance between the eyes
And it was the same for the swb.

Got some 413 diffs to go in possibly in the future.

The suzuki chassis diagram dimensions show the distance for the swb to be 975.5mm and Lwb 965.5? So a whole 10mm difference :lol: I thought it was more than that from memory :lol:

But yeah running a longer shackle will work

coolio, ill add a little length to the rear shackles and hope that sorts it out.

hopefully the rear will have a good bit of travel in it.

elecy fan arrived. fuel tanks been refurbed. new brake pipes is the next job to be sorted.

It aint pretty but I have a door that works!

Ive just plated over the top for now and welded the hinges on. The lower hinge was dead
So I just boshed on a front door one. Its solid but ugly. Welder keeps on faffing me about
So the welding isn't as nice as I would have liked . Screw it I have a door !
