In response to an earlier request for photos I thought I'd pop these two on. What a summer to have a topless SJ! Since June it's been on quite a few longish topless journeys with me but recently I took it (topless) to Shropshire and Worcestershire for a couple of days because I wanted to walk some of The Malvern Hills and it ran impeccably, just like the ones we've hired in Turkey in the past, and amazed me by touching 75 m.p.h. on the M1 when overtaking a double line of wagons. A bit heavy on petrol (34 m.p.g.) compared with the Turkish ones (43 m.p.g.) but that's probably because it's got a non-standard Weber carburettor.
Glad I bought it when I did.
The photos were taken on Long Mynd near Church Stretton in Shropshire - nice place if you don't know it.

Looks nice. Think i'm going for a ride into the dales sometime soon. Some super scenery up there too.
