remember christmas will be back again next year,ok this was going to be your first together as married so that does make it a special one,but hey, at least he is still here to see christmas even if he,s in hospital,
so you will still be together for it.

smuggle a laptop into him im sure we can all insult him enought to keep him ammused .

you know if you get down post somthing on here or differ's somene will be along with a cheary comment within minets,(or just have a laugh at my speeling).

if you are lucky santa will be comming around the wards on christmas morning,that will be nice.

Ah,, like tony said, we can abuse him even if he is led down,, ive been off for six weeks now with a broken foot, every time i speak to a work colleuge or friend?, i get the usual, "its being done faster cos your not here etc".. dont break a sweat..

oh, one think the kids say to me, you know the shoe shops have display racks outside!! you can nick one shoe!?.. NO i dont think its funny either.

If luke wants any-one to take out his truck,, you know to rag-it round fields,, sorry i mean keep things moving etc,, im sure we can hire it out LOL..

bloody hell ! just seen this post hope that luke makes a full recovery and you both keep strong through this . Maybe a couple of offroad mags will keep him cheered up.

Thanks all. Ive took him loadz of mags to read but at the moment all he wants to do is sleep. Hopefully once tomorrow is out of the way, hell start to come of the morpheine and start to get back to a little bit of normality!

out of interest which bike was he riding? i'd be impressed if he did all that on one of his mopeds

Well time for a quick update. After 10 hours of extensive surgery and more damage to lukes leg than the surgeon initially thought, luke arrived safely back to the high dependancy unit at 7pm last night. Hes still in a lot of pain and is on epidural pain relief at the moment. His leg is swollen but the surgeons have done an amazing job to repair his leg. The surgeon came to see him whilst i was there today and had a chat to us both which was lovely. He was very positive and said that they wont keep him in any longer than necessary. He explained to us that another 4cm of damage and they wouldnt have been able to save lukes leg at all.
He has been incredibly lucky, even if he doesnt feel that way at the moment. Hes got to have another op in jan/feb time to re break the leg and to add an extra halo to his frame, if its left as it is his left leg will be 5cms shorter than the right.

And yeah he was on the puch, we arent impressed in the slightest. We just hope the woman that hit him never drives again!

Whenever i mention that lukes been in a motorbike accident they all presume it was his fault and he was driving too fast!Stupid old bint!!!I really hope she never drives again!She must be in total shock though!
