You will still need to connect the white and yellow wires to the "B" terminal though :)

I've just looked at it and the pulley is for the different kind of belt aswel.
I think I will just get the supplier to take this one back and replace with the correct item.

I've done some snooping and found this, I've been told there are 2 alternators for my sj. A Lucas or a Bosch so I googled it and this came up looks like what I need.

The guy who sold me the first one said he had sent the wrong one as he didn't stock the one I wanted???
I have now ordered the correct one, the nearest I could find is in France.
