For a long wheel base, that's a pretty good price, I think. I'd keep a LWB standard though. I reckon the SWBs are more suited to off-roading as you're less likely to get beached on something. A LWB is more practical on the road as you get more boot space.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Well Gents I got one. A LWB 91 Samurai with a hardtop over the tray. Perfect horse for my (Hampshire) road surveillance work (Tree Surveyor on A & B roads) Just started this week. Having driven all the major 4*4 brands in Aussie, I have to say I think she drives real well.
Will upload a pic when I get one.

If I stick around in Blightey I will have to do her up.
Looking forward to testing her off road capacity.

Got a little spitfire… :rockin:

The little horse road Wednesdays storm - Hampshire to Devon real well. Last time I drove a storm (dodged landslips) was in my Toyota Troop Carrier (Queensland 2010 floods)...

But I here you brother, just got my first pay, smart phone and pic to come....

Sounds good! Let's see some pics!

What size tyres are you running? I would re fit standard length shackles, will make it drive nicer and perform better off-road. Lift shackles are awful when combined with standard springs and do more harm than good in many ways!

Steady as she goes!

Original Shackles are on, your damn right she is a much better ride, Just need to track down a replacement carburettor and then get the rust cut out (sills & wheel arches). How do you upload a pic - I don't understand the URL link path…

Regards all - Cass

Love my Samurai….

More of me than Little Horse. Still got me a LWB Samurai with a hard top roof. Gonna restore her then get her kitted for some off roading...
