Lunchtime today I was ready to give up on the 413, the O/S rear drum would not shift, up on axle stands and over an hour with a FBH on the wheel rim...
Thinking there is no other option than split the drum with a grinder/ is this really worth it ?/Look at the welding needed ect..
So I went the long way round, the rigid brake line is shot so chomped thru that, undid brake backplate nuts, removed the whole lot, halfshaft and drum as one, propped the backplate on timber blocks, gave the halfshaft a smack with a block....clunk.. the drum fell off.
weeks of ball aching trying to do it the right way, 2 mins doing it the wrong way... !

Congrats, there is always a way. As long as nothing is destroyed it's still the right way.
