Looks like nice tidy work bud.

You keeping the 413 diff ratios or going lower?

I used 50mm box section as it's all i had laying around, luckily it fits spot on.

I'll be using the 413 diffs for the time being. May have to change them at some point if i end up getting chromo shafts or some kind of diff lock in the futuer

Finished making the trusses for the rear axle. Just need to weld it all up now. Not sure if iv made a mistake making them to go on the bottom of the axle, as im going to loose abit of ground clearance now.

Looks real tidy. Not sure about all the holes in them?

Take it you're just going to spray/pour/force paint into them all when it's welded up?

Could you fill it with expanding foam?

That would just soak up water, wouldn't it?

I'd of just left it solid and welded it on.

paint inside before welding then fire in some waxoil should help

I didn't want to keep it as a solid piece because i thought if i didn't fully seal it properly it might fill with water over time and rust from the inside out. I thought if i filled it with holes that 1) i could spray paint in there 2) Any crud would just drain straight back out again. I did intend for the holes to be bigger but i only had a 10mm drill bit.

Buy yourself a cone cutter and it will open up the holes easily enough :thumbup:
You can always jet wash it out through the holes as well. Just take your time welding the truss, it's very very easy to bend an Sj axle case by getting it too hot during welding.
