Post by Ladaman » Sun Apr 20, 2014 9:56 pm

I will be going there with my son, so two Samurai's so far.

Anyone else fancy coming along?

I know it's a long way for a lot of you, but there must be some more Northern people fancy it.

Well I went, but didn't last long.

An opening comment I made was "Lets just drive around for a bit, I don't want to break it".

Mmmmm, that didn't last long.

Within about 10 mins, I was sunk in a pond, feet soaking wet and needed pulling out. About 10 mins after rescue, a nice rocky bit looked tempting, second attempt I broke a half shaft

GAME OVER!

A video is to follow. Not much Suzuki action though. :x

Well you did better than me, I got 10 minutes (off which consisted of getting stuck) before I lost drive to the rear, and then ditched it for a walk to tow back later.

Upon getting a helpful tow out onto the field, drove up the field to find my mates waving at me as my halfshaft had detached from the interference fit bearing/collar.
