I made a start fitting my bearing kit today, I had a few hours on it and got grease everywhere! I was chuffed to get the felt & rubber seal on without cutting it. Then I had to go to work, I did have one little issues though,

- My track rod end (well my ball joint), I was going to split the linkage so loosened the nut off the top unfortunately when it was far enough off I tapped it and the linkage started spitting, but now the entire track rod pivot spins when trying to undo the last threads on the nyloc nut, is there a bolt head under the rubber gator?

*edit* I gave the kingpin pivot a lick around with emery and it was fine, it slotted in easily like there was no problem!

Can normally just push it back up a little so the taper locks a bit to undo it and then tap it back down

Another fun day, I fitted my new bearing assy and king pin bearings on the passenger side, I fitted new brake hoses too but suffered a small issue

What are your thoughts on this? Drill it out and retapp it? Or do I need a new caliper? The drivers side bleed nipple is just as reluctant to be removed!

Nice work! Will be awesome to see your Sk back on the road!

As for the nipple you could try a stud removal tool. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110868152075

Thanks I'll I've give it a go but I'm not hopeful it seemed pretty stuck! I could also do with another swivel hub seal bolt I had a full set but one has managed to get lost! If anyone has a spare kicking about? Its very annoying, what are my options if I cannot get the thread out? Do I need to buy a set if new calipers?
