NOTICE REGARDING SALISBURY PLAIN

Post by Smarty » Sun Jul 13, 2014 9:23 pm

Ok so for anyone who uses sailsbury plain or is planning on doing so I went up there today and noticed that they are going to fill in a lot of the good stuff up there!

They are resurfacing the main road through the plain past Knook camp. They have scraped the top surface off the road and have piled up tonnes of it next to the worst (best) bits of the byways. Just a heads up that I think they are going to start filling it all in!

Heres an example of the amount of Tarmac they are planning on putting in the ruts (ignore my mate ontop of it lol)

Just a heads up for anyone so they arnt disappointed when going up.

Yep! Someone at Wiltshire council probably had a pat on the back for this idea, saving the council money on not having to dispose of it and ruining our fun.

They are. Think the point was they are repairing byways no one uses except us for fun when the roads people use everyday with massive pot holes ruining cars are being left.
