This is a site just under an hour away from home. One I've never been to before, as I've heard it can be a car killer due to deep water
Anyway, due to the recent good weather I agreed to venture over, just as the tail of hurricane Bertha hits the UK.
The site is a converted slag heap from the days when we had mines "up't North". So a huge pile of mud and water really, and VERY slippy. Some really long steep hills, that were just too dangerous to attempt, and was left well alone by evey one all day.

How did you find it over all mate? Iv been there once and it just blocked my radiator and brakes pretty bad. Engine had like an inch of clay all round it which it didnt enjoy on the motorway ride home. I agree with the deep water, had it almost in the windows! Very dirty water though

Overall it was a good laugh, as there were a good few of us playing together as a group.
The water there really does block the radiator up. (mine is soaking in a wheel barrow now) it didn't help that it screwed my electric fan either. A long slow drive home with a few stops.
I still prefer Tong and Cowm for P & P site close to me, but Tong wasn't open in Aug for 4 x 4's.

Ive not been to tong or cowm. They're still on my to do list. Its alright having these electric fans when your wading but they pack up too easy! Happens to mine too.
