I just wanted to say hi... My name is Lee, I live in Norfolk and I have just bought an SJ410.
I have wanted one of these since I was young, and being in the market for a 4x4, I succumbed to an ad on Ebay! It's a 1986 1L soft top, completely unaltered and has no rust!! I drove it back last night, and inspite of being in a garage for at least 6 months, it drove without a hitch.... it did splutter above 50, until I blew the cobwebs out but otherwise all seems good!! I have a number of questions about it... I shall have a look around the forum and make a few posts... anyway, it is good to finally be an SJ owner and to be here...

You have got yourself a tidy little beast. My friend was interested in it as well but got outbid. Have fun.

Hi, thanks for the welcome... yes, she is pretty tidy. All standard, and runs beautifully... she needed the cobwebs blowing out, but now pulls well. The only thing I am not too happy about is the the original air filter is replaced with an aftermarket jobby, and it feels like she is running a bit lean... there is a bit of a popping when you accelerate above 50. I am going to change all the oils and plugs tomorrow and have a fiddle with everything.
