time for an update and a sort of re-introduction as im sure there are plenty of new members. HI! :welcome:

I dont know how I have neglected this so much.

Buying my first house had something to do with it but its no excuse. The anus never let me down and I have let it down.

Its finally at my house and things are going to start happening and already have.

Took the front wings and grill off today in preperaion for getting the body off to fix the vast ammount of holes in it.

Forgot how easy these things are to work on. Had them off in about an hour including messing about with some redundant wireing for old fog lamps.

Anyway im gunna be around here a whole lot more now so prepare for the constant rambling!

IM BACK IN LOVE WITH THE SJ!!!

im going to have a similar battle with the elements but im hoping to get the worst of it sorted relatively quickly.

Work let me buy 2 weeks holiday off them because things are a bit quiet so I might have to keep an eye on the weather forcast and take them when its good!

looking at it now the front is off its probably gunna be a bit more work than Ianticipated. Best get on the case for a gazebo that isnt to much of an eyesore for the neibours!

think im probably gunna get a bit carried away. Might aswell stick a 1.6 8v in it while im at it!

I went over Dan's on saturday and as usual wherever I go there ends up with a suzuki in lots of pieces  gave him a few pointers on how to weld thin suzuki bodywork and set up his MIG. So hopefully soon he'll have a fully rot free and road worthy suzuki. :rockin:

Ended up with just Dan & I lifting the body off but we got it done :doublethumbs:

update time

no time for much explaining as im about to go out but basically ive built a 'garage' out of a free gazebo and a tarpaulin I had and done some rather poor welding that is slowly improving!

photos in no particular order!

Got proper gas instead of tiny hobby canisters and some new tips and wire for the welder so hopefully things are about to get easier!
