This. Do this. If the Samurai goes the way of it's predecessor, the LJ80, your wallet will be glad you did - one day...

cheers :D today I spent a few hours dabbing curerust on all of the tiny specs I could find and so i'll probably go over them tomorrow to match up to white :) tempted to re-spray some parts to create a white&black composite but i'm really unsure about it as i'm not too sure how it looked as stock..

It would have had black bumpers, sill covers, and wing mirrors as stock.

Something like mine was originally. If you click the link for my build thread in my signature there's a photo on the first page.

What does one of these roughly cost to spray? full body that is.

haha yeah saw you did yours a few pages into your build thread, nice job! not too sure I'm quite ready to completely strip her though as I should probably focus on more important things xD

At this point, I'd say don't do anything radical, just touch up, and enjoy her. If you can put some underseal under the wee beastie, I'd encourage that. Just enjoy owning a little classic truck, read a few build threads (not just monster threads like Dan's, but also look at threads of restorations back to "stock") and decide what you want for it long term. Owning it for a while first will help you decide what you want from it if you don't know already.
