On a more positive note, I managed to source a brand new windscreen today from a company in Bridgwater (recomended by one of the lads at work) called Windscreen warehouse, or something close. Google did the rest.
£150 fitted. mega happy with that
Auto glass wanted £310 and they wouldn't even let me haggle them.

Fawww. windscreen goes in tomorrow. sorted the silly adaptor for my fuel tank feed pipe (some Japanese metric thread I think). Ordered a level garage off of ebay on Saturday and awaiting delivery. Now I need a fuel filler pipe and the tank and all fueling will be sorted, ready to fit.
Axle is going for a shot black, sacked the chrome idea off. will rebuild it on new bearings and seals on Saturday and hopefully refit it.
I'm getting so excited.

Yessss, window went in today and it looks sweeeet
Would upload a pic but they are too big.
Managed to source a filler Hose from an eBay seller. band new for £45 which is painfully expensive as far as I need concerned, but it is holding up the fitting of the tank so it's needed.
Roll on Saturday.

that 45 degree bit has me worried. I have a straight stelled piece on the tail. Looks near enough like the end of an airline bit. one way or another it is going in on Saturday. I'll cut the daft thing off if need be and put an extra hose clip on it.

For some parts it's worth calling a Suzuki dealer. My filler hose was £17.

45 degree is the angle of the mating surface inside the connector
