I've checked everything over the weekend guys and nothing seems to have cured it
How can I measure the angle of the axel what instruments should I use in ready for selling it
Everything I've tried isn't working surely someone's experienced this befor it's so vicious the last test drive it
Nearly had me off the road

If you have an IPhone, go into the compass, swipe across and there's an angle reader, just hold your phone against the diff flange.

You can get angle finder apps for most smart phones.

Exactly 13-14 degrees on the diff and the pinion 14.5 what would be the best to drop it down to 10-11 ?

That's enough to put you into + caster figures, that certainly won't be helping with the wobble.

Unfortunately the easiest way is to cut the spring perches off, rotate them and weld them back on with the axle sitting at the correct angle. in the US you can get wedges that go between the perch and spring to adjust the angle but I have never found a UK supplier.

Does this have coil springs as well as leafs on the front?

What would you say the correct angle should be ? Yes it has also got springs and shocks

At ride height the pinion flange should sit at 10*

Reason I ask is because I saw this pic and had a feeling it was the same Sj It looks like the suspension is really stiff and doesn't flex, that can't be good for handling and I would try to soften it up if I were you.

Possibly loose the coils and go back to normal shocks rather than the struts, the back could be softened up as well.

In that situation you should end up cross axled like this.



Looking at the difference in shackle angles on yours in that situation, something is limiting it, either the shocks are too short or the springs are too stiff, maybe even both.

If you can get the suspension set up better it will perform better and be a lot more stable off-road.
