Managed to get some time to do a bit more. James has been busy while I haven't been there. Hoping to get a full day on it this weekend and get the brakes connected up, paint the chassis and maybe some welding on the body as it has more holes than expected

I can't take all the credit Mike. James has done quite alot of the work with me moving house etc. Sometimes it's too easy to just let him crack on. Was having a good look at yours, that will be one naughty motor when James has finished.mike harris wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 10:45 amLooking good man I saw it in person the other day, really cool build !

So between me and James we have something starting to resemble an sj again.
Had to convert the front brakes from non vented to vented thanks to a seized caliper, non venteid calipers are very hard to get hold of.

Not many pics from today but I managed to get through quite abit. power steering finished off, rerouted all water pipes, mounted intercooler and piped up with some hoses I had kicking about (will buy new eventually), battery mount sorted.
Still a way to go but waiting on materials to finish the back. Won't be long till I can bring it home and finish it off in garage.
