I would call them to check that they actually have it in stock, they might not.charger wrote:http://www.puresuzuki.com/shackle_reverse.htm

really well made kit, Mine was the 3.5" kit and like I said its spot on
No the leafs come as part of the kit (as do dampers and a drop pitman arm to keep the steering geometry right. You need to buy extended brake lines though and extend your bump stops yourself). With the 3.5" lift (like mine) its made up of the shackle reversal which raises the SJ by 2" and the leaves that come with the kit are +1.5" to give the desired height. As scott said it does make the ride a bit harder than usual but all the people who talk about the adverse handling of shackle reversal are spouting crap...I've heard a few people saying that the combination of shackle reversal and short wheel base is a bad combination, but personally I've not had any bad experiences with it and I imagine if any one suffers with shackle reversal its because the springs are too soft, the ones that come with kit are spot on for what you need. I think the 5" calmini kit comes with some different bits and bobs to my 3.5" kit but essentially its the same kit with +3" springs
I'd recommend calmini stuff anyone, I bought my set from L.A.Supertrux

Yeah I've heard mostly good things about shackle reversal's handling. Apparently it makes it more like a car to drive, and less like a boat
If you want adverse/dangerous handling, do spring over axle
(Don't really though )

Re: Calmini Shackle Reverse
You only get crap handling with SPOA if you do it wrong. Like a lot in this country seem too! people not keeping the caster angle correct is the main reason and using Z-steering bars is the second reason they can handle like $hit!twiss wrote:Yeah I've heard mostly good things about shackle reversal's handling. If done correctly with high steer and correct caster angles it should handle the same as stock, except for the obvious rise in the centre of gravity meaning a little bit more caution around corners would be advised

Re: Calmini Shackle Reverse
If you want mega-flex spoa and single leaf springs work really well.
My mate had that combination on that SJ that joined here a while ago. The one that was blue and is now black...
Got super flex out of it! We could flex the truck by hand, to the point of tipping it over lol
