yes get a S12 i had 1 there mega good looking look alot like the AE86 without the price tag :]
the 1.8 turbo engines in them are pretty good to :) pop up lamps will fail but most pop ups do lol

few little problems have popped up now been looking round the SJ ..sounds daft but bonnet pull???? were am i looking lol

what best engines to put in the SJ then a friends putting a 306 D turbo engine in his other say 1.7 CTDTI astra enigne unlucky for me i just got rid of 1 of them :(
what sort of BHP does the s12 put out stock?

Bonnet pull is in the glove box

IMO I don't like diesels in SJs because they weigh too much and ruin the main advantage SJs have! their light weight! yes they are good for deep water and a bit cheaper on fuel but that's where the benefits stop

Easiest conversion is the 1.6 8V out of a Vitara

i agree with scottie about the diesel conversions mine had it , weighd hell of alot more , then i blew up the diesel and now going down the 1.6 8v vit root  ;)

anyways welcome to the club :rockin:

:welcome: to the club. SJ looks good to me

I'm a member of loads of jap forums but mainly Honda and Subaru based. I think you will find the SJ alot easer to work on :guns: .
