Looking at the circuit diagrams both circuits would normally have a 10 amp fuse in. Have you got uprated bulbs or spotlights wired with out a relay. I would have expected the red wired circuit to still work, but I guess not.

Well it certainly needs cleaning up or at worse disconnect the wires from the plug and connect a external fuse holder.

Had a quick look and rubbed them with some emery and turns out its the problem, I got dip working but main doesnt seem to work.

I also noticed a bit of the pcb where the plug goes on is broken, but I didnt notice before so may be worth getting a replacement, dont want it shorting out and catching fire :/

Oh and the whole reason its burnt is...............100W/80W bulbs!!! They'll be changed very soon!

So its meant to be a 10amp fuse in there with normal bulbs?

You can get 55/60 halogens that will fit. These use a little more current than standard bulbs but are not normally a problem. Fitted them to mine many years back

I had that fuse board in my spanish SJ. Mine was burnt but the main problem i had was someone kicked it and snaped it :argh: so i replaced it with a jap unit so much better

Was it hard to put a jap box in to replace the fuse board, cause mine has snapped as well?
Thanks
