You don't necessarily need to base it on a LWB, I't wouldn't be that hard to get an extra 10" of wheelbase on a SWB chassis.

Or you could shorten the Caddy, because they're quite long anyway.

Looked into this myself, but fancied a swb samurai with a mk2 golf shell. sure its something like half a inch different.

Get it done. The caddy's are going up and up in price tho so do it soon.

If you chopped out the arches slightly off centre to accommodate the bigger SJ wheels and tyres that half inch would disappear.

Ive also got images of scale drawings for the chassis and body transposed on to of each other. Its 10cm difference in wheel base but like Ed said I plan to loose that in Virtual lifting the Caddy arches.
