:welcome: to :suzuki:clubUK

Looks like the SJ is pretty straight on the outside, should be a fun toy in the winter.

Love the escort! :rockin:

Finally the race seassion is over at work, so time to get back to the escort and looking athe SJ before winter comes.

When i picked it up the previous owner told me the water pump had a dribble so provided a new water pump.

Tonight i stuck it in the barn and started stripping the water pump off it. its the first time iver had a good look around the truck and it looks fairly good with ha few crispy and crudly repaired bits as i expected.

Here are a few pics, i know bugger all about these SJ's so have no idea whats been changed apart from obvious bits like the SPOA, weber carb and steering arm. If anything else obvious has been done please point it out..

Matt King wrote:I'm looking forward to doing a few bits to it but unfortunately with Goodwood next week I won't be getting near it for a couple of weeks. Underneath looks fairly sound, body and inner wheel arches are crispy but that's easy to sort out.

will start a build thread as I start doing bits to it.

I love Goodwood great event i hope i can get there and help my uncle on his stand. If you see it its the games room company they have a stand by the pit lane i know that. Only thing wrong with good wood is they havent made a off road track yet and with all that land they really should. Its quote far from you !

Welcome! Only thing I can see is that for a D reg it has the wrong mirrors. Apart from that it looks great. Like every one else here that Escort is pretty froody...so is the bike.
