theres devils pit pay and play down barton
whaddon over near Milton Keynes is good
green lane wise the only one I know of is between slip end and markyate.
it has width restrictions but is apparently still open. only and sj will fit though.

I been to round hill but only as a watcher. theres a few clubs that use the site.
the most local ones would be Northants4x4.co.uk and AROC (Anglian rover owners club) they do trials with more than just land rovers.
I work in the icknield industrial estate in tring

Ahhh sweet I forgot about this thread. Glad some people sound on board. Any ideas when people will be looking at meeting?

I would like to come to a meet or offroad day. The truck has no winch or additional recovery points. Anyone point me in the direction of a basic list or guide of what's needed?

Depends on whether you go for a pay and play or green Laning, I would say that generally a good set of tyres will make the most difference

I liked the idea of trying a pay and play day and if there are any greenlanes still open around Hertfordshire or surrounding areas would be fun to try.
The Sj has bronco grizzly claw 15" tyres on it, they not chunky enough but don't know if people rate them or not? Also has a spring over axle conversion and weber carb. And some rust which must make it lighter
