Bit more sorting out done.
1. Location of the Volvo electric pump. Ideally to keep power and hose lines short adjacent to the steering box. Does not seem to work at all. So on opposite side fixed to the jack position.
2. Tried preliminary position for auxiliary fuse box.

Busy morning. Jimny steering box fitted, adjacent radiator support fitted with no clash.
Rockwatt inlet manifold fitted together with cooling hoses.
Fitting for relays trial fitted. Start made on replacing all fuel and brake lines.

Unboxed the new radiator. Will be fitting a power steering oil cooler to the radiator as well.

My next "design" exercise is to mount the Volvo electric power steering pump.Suitable location is adjacent to the jack platform.
Paper and pencil at the ready will take measurements and see what I can come up with!! :?: :er: :er:

Obtained a WFM bracket / box for the Volvo electric pump. Been measuring / sketching and 'may' have a solution. More later.
Have purchased a set of the rubber anti-vibration bushes as well.

First trial fix still retaining jack position. End bracing still to go in.
Some tweaking needed but in principle it works OK.

Stripped out brake system for complete renewal. Proportioning valve has seen better days.
As have done rear disc conversion intend to fit a proportioning valve.
