Mine have been like it for years, more than strong enough for light SJ doors

With break ins they still have to open the door to lift it off.

Yeah you can't lift the doors off without the door being open.

I will have it parked in my garage when it's no being used but you still won't be able to remove the doors without them being opened, not that my doors lock anyway haha

was wondering today if I would be safe to use 2 bottle jacks and then use axle stands to work on this?

Do you mean bottle jacks under one axle and stands under the other? If so, NO!!!
If you mean jack it up with the bottles then stick it on axle stands, that's perfectly fine

Ok mate, cheers, I was thinking of getting a couple long planks of wood and then putting the bottle jacks up one end and then the other on axle stands, haha suppose that is quite dodgy.
I'm planning to start stripping the front axle down tomorrow all being well.
if not there's plenty else I could be doing haha

thing is the bottle jacks dont have the triangle legs like most axle stands
