Finally back home. Though I'm not overly happy with how the rear is sat. It's actually sat level but it looks like the rear is down. I prefer the rear up abit. It's abit difficult with it being custom and ligh, there's no off the shelf parts that will work, all trial and error

Looks great mind! Could always add a small coil spring spacer to adjust the height.
Either that or it’s coilover time

Sometimes I just wish I had something standard that you could just buy off the shelf parts.................... Oh wait
I do plan on buying some new rear springs anyway so might just get some spring seat rubbers and see if that picks it up abit.
I'm feeling a 16v now though I won't lie, especially after driving my green one about, keep the blue one for some road and non damaging green lanes

The 16v is a good swap. It’s the way I’m going with Blue now.
What springs are you running? We have some pretty much new Gen4 Jimny springs in the workshop as we fitted a 2” lift to my Dads.

Standard jimny fronts all round
I think now the green one is ready to be used I'm going to properly look into the 16v swap

So another year and half goes by and I though time for some TLC. Gearbox out and rebuilt, transfer box rebuilt, new rear wheel bearings and break pads, rear diff rebuilt. Should be good as new.
Unbelievably reliable car for the use and capability it has

Glad to see it's still getting some love! Every time I think of going coils have a read of the thread

Well hopefully seeing it and driving it might sway you a little

So, finally got all the bits back, still need to refit the rear diff and hopefully a quick refresh will solve all the noises.
But in the meantime time I got abit carried away, and thanks to Scottie's build it's reignited my 16v urges.
So yesterday, a quick trip to North Wales got me a very rotten 16v Vitara.
Straight home and let the work commence
It won't be a fast engine swap as I need to figure it all out, mainly wiring but I'll be trying to get a decent amount of progress done.
Haven't wasted any time so far and got a decent amount of parts which I can sell to get my money back
