no suzuki engine will take any post there too high compression, you will have to run a thicker head gasket or machine your pistons, plus if you run more boost you will eventually need to up rate the injectors and afm as it will amx out. if you are using a carb howver you wont be able to get enough fuel in, so it will run lean then det, then melt a piston.

What regulates the turbo?
And what manifold, turbo etc did you use?

all ive got is the dump valve to regulate the turrbo atm i cant figure out how to pipe up the actuator :s and its a mk3 vw golf tdi turbo garret t15 im waiting for a boost gauge be for i have a proper drive ive only took it to 2000rpm atm and it goes like f**k even at that !

ive just fitted a boost gauge to find out what its actually boosting and its doing 5psi atm and seems to go well ! but ive just noticed once its the engine is warm and ticking over the oil pressure light flickers what can i do about this ? of just speed the tick over up ???

Sounds like the pump could be on its way out and if that completely fails it could mean a rebuild or new engine will be needed.

If it was me I would get a new oil pump on there before you next run it!

You need to run the actuator to controll boost at the feed side or it will overspool and quickly distroy it's self ! If you rely on dumping the pressure then that will let the turbo freerun.
You will need a higher cap oil pump cos with the turbo fitted you have an extra drain on the pressure of the pump. The original oil pump is balanced to pressure up the engine jurnals only and not over pressure them ! And that can be just as bad as under pressure !
You could run a small external oil pump just for the turbo.

i ran itfor llonger than before last nite and no flickering light :s and i am running an actuator now, ill try get a vid a.s.a.p thanks for the help people !
