Well another long break and I thought I could buy myself some enthusiasm, So ta-da I got these

I've been meaning to do something with the winders for a long time now as the original passenger winder lost its knob and I had to replace it with a black one. I meant to replace the entire set of door auxiliary with black ones but when I saw these I thought ahhh. The original ones are a bit plasticy and flimsy (especially when the window won't shut and your swinging on them) So they are really an upgrade and an investment! ;) - or so I told the missus,

Although I like them I might be tempted to whip them off and give them a lick of black paint - or even get them powdercoated, as they are a little too shiny.

Pass

I don't know, there are still a few things that need sorting & It's just not a priority at the moment,

On my to do list is Crank seal/gear box seal, king pin bearings and the welding,

The welding Is just really daunting and I don't think I have the ability to do It I keep thinking I should have a go but I don't want to make it worse than it already is. At the moment the plan is to see how my claim goes and with any cash left over take it to the local garage or get a free lance bloke to come and have a look! There's no real time scale to that though as I have no idea when any money will come through or even how much it will be!
