you can get a spare wheel mount for your cb antena, if you fit a roof crate or bull bar then you can mount it to that...

and yes SJ's and older vits have manual hubs..

I had a spare wheel mount on the disco. Pity I didn't have time to remove it.

I have a dilemma.

As with all these things, I have to work with a budget.
I want to get some MTs on it so I can go & play.

but

I also want get it lifted. That will allow me to get bigger tyres.

I don't want to buy MTs now & then buy bigger ones in 6 months.

I can't afford suspension lift and new tyres.

Sounds like a familiar dilemma.

I would shop about for some cheap 2nd hand MTs. Biggest size you can fit with out a lift. Run them for now whilst saving for a lift. Again. Shop about may be able to get 2nd hand lift kit.

Be patient though, i'd wait and save till you can get the kit you want. Then its just save up again for the tyres you want.

Only advice i can come up with.

That was my plan too. Hoping someone can come up with something better.

I read somewhere that 235/75-15 will fit a standard 3 door vit. Can anyone confirm?

Can I go larger?
